SCHEDULE OF FINES AND COURT COSTS
Under authority vested exclusively in the court by Section 479.050, Missouri Revised Statutes, 1986, and by Rule 37.49, Missouri Rules of Court, 1993, it is hereby ordered that the following schedule of fines and court costs for the Violations Bureau is established. This schedule shall supersede all previous schedules of fines and costs, whether established by ordinance or otherwise, and shall be applicable only to those violations disposed of prior to the scheduled court appearance noted on the summons. Only one (1) moving violation may be paid out of court in any twelve (12) month period. It is further ordered, as required by Rule 37.49, that this schedule be prominently posted at the place where fines are to be paid. Payment of the scheduled fine and costs shall constitute a plea of guilty and waiver of trial. Court costs in all cases are $29.50, which includes $7.50 to be paid to the State’s Crime Victim’s Compensation fund as required by statute and $2.00 to be paid to the city’s Police Training Fund as provided by statute, $7.00 State Court automation surcharge to be paid to Missouri Dept of Revenue by statute and established by ordinance. Any violation not listed in this schedule requires an appearance in Court unless otherwise ordered.
